ABOUT OUR COMPANY

Our history

Part of the Safety First Aid Group which was established in 1959, Safety First Aid Training (SFAT) is one of the UK’s leading training providers in Ofqual approved first aid, health and safety and fire training courses.

Today we’re based in our Hertfordshire office, with training centres located in Hertfordshire, Central London and North London. In 2015 alone we successfully trained over 3,000 people based in a range of different industries.

Whilst our courses are available in our London training centres, we are also able to visit your place of work to conduct standard training or bespoke courses which are tailored to your needs.

Giving you the latest knowledge in your course

We’re part of the British Healthcare Trade Association (BHTA), meaning that we always receive the latest industry updates, British standards, workplace regulations, health and safety regulations and best practices in first aid. This means that your course always contains the most up-to-date information to give you the latest techniques and skills which meet all current guidelines.

Fully approved, certified and regulated courses

Alongside meeting the latest advancements and best practices in training, Safety First Aid Training also reports to QNUK Qualifications allowing us to offer Ofqual regulated courses. We offer courses under the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) to meet the latest workplace regulations.

Finally, many of our courses meet HSE (Health and Safety Executive) guidelines, meaning that you can train with Safety First Aid Training to gain the nationally recognised qualifications you require.

Our instructors

SFAT only employs highly qualified and experienced instructors who make it easy for you to learn your new skills in an interesting and exciting learning environment. Many of our instructors also have real life experience as paramedics, nurses, fire fighters and more, so you get the latest learning material combined with real-world experience.
